Ford has launched its model, Ford Figo in India to compete in the small car segment. Ford Figo is available in both petrol and diesel models with four variants each. Ford has tried to make this model stand out in the market by equipping it with features such as lane change indicators, rapid deceleration warning, speed sensing volume control, smart programmable remote key, distance to empty, 6 speed intermittent wiper and intelligent central locking.
The petrol version of Ford Figo has all new 1.2L petrol engine, which produces 71Ps of maximum power and 102 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version of Ford Figo has 1.4L, Duratorq diesel engine, which produces 69PS of maximum power and 160 Nm of top torque. Ford Figo comes in four variants in both petrol and diesel engine. The variants are Lxi, Exi, Zxi and Titanium. The vehicle gives a standard mileage of around 12.5 kmpl mileage in the city for petrol engine and 14.5 to 15 kmpl for diesel one. Ford Figo comes with a three-spoke power steering. The dashboard comprises of a digital odometer and trip meter. The audio system is decorated with silver outlines and black colored audio machine. It includes an MP3 player, Radio (AM/FM) and 4 speakers. Bluetooth connectivity is also there. The interior has fabric upholstery and dual tone colored seats. The driver seat is adjustable. Rear seat row is foldable, but rear seat has a little congested leg space and no head rest.
