  • Honda Brio is new car in the small car segment in India. It was first showcased at the Auto Expo in Delhi 2010. It is expected to give tough competition to other cars in its segment such as Chevrolet Beat, Toyota Etios Liva, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and the upcoming Maruti Cervo in Indian market. Demand for small cars is increasing year by year in Indian market; in fact Small car segment has recorded highest number of sales in 2010. It was a good choice on part of Honda to launch a small car in India.

    Honda Brio Engine Specifications & Features

    It will feature a 1.2-litre VTEC petrol engine. The company is also expected to increase 1 liter motor in the future. It comes with 1197 cc of displacement, and will deliver maximum peak power of 89 Bhp at 6200 rpm and torque of 110 Nm at 4800 rpm. It is expected to offer a mileage of more than 20kmpl.

    Exteriors
    It is a small car. It has a unique looks from the rear side as it has all-glass stalk. The car has pretty aerodynamic design; chrome strip and Honda badge on the grille. All these features give it a stylish look and design from the front. The most attractive part of designing is its shoulder line, which starts at the C-pillar and flies down to meet the front wheel arch line and it continues to meet top edge. The large Trapezoid design makes Air intake easy. The overall the look of the car is aggressive.

    Interiors
    It has beautiful looks as well as beautiful interiors. It is 4 door hatchback and can easily accommodate 5 passengers at a time.  The seats look small but offers ample space to have comfortable seating. There is enough space and head rests to feel free for all the passengers. It oozes relaxation and comfort. It features many high end features such as power steering, elegant Dashing board, armrests, gear Knob, body colored mirrors, inbuilt Audio System including USB, Air condition. All these features add to the comfort level of this small car.  
    It is also adorned by safety features such as TCS (traction control system), IVSP (Intelligent vehicle stability program) and It has two Airbags on front seats in order to guarantee safety if any collision occurs. It will also have other standard safety features.
