    Japanese car manufacturer Nissan is aggressively introducing a range of cars into the Indian market as it is trying to make up for lost time. It has taken a while for Nissan to realize the full potential that the Indian market has to offer and is planning on releasing the Nissan GT-R, Murano, NV200, Pixo, Qashqai and the Nissan Sunny. These range of cars will make Nissan one of the only manufacturers in India to features its cars in almost all the segments even having two cars in the sports car segment.
    The Nissan Sunny has been around for a long time although when first introduced in 1966 it was called the Datsun. The Sunny has been one of Nissan’s best selling cars and following on from the success of the Nissan Micra, Nissan has decided to base the Sunny on the same Micra platform. The new Sunny is essentially an extension of the Micra and is expected to be available in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2011. Nissan is expected to price the Sunny at around the 8 – 10 lakh range and should expect some decent sales of this model.
    The Nissan Sunny is a comfortable car to drive and also comes with the latest in safety and technological features. It has all the necessary comforts as well to make this a very enjoyable car to drive whether in the city or on the highway.
